Canada, country guest of honour 2011

Every year, Franchise Expo Paris turns the spotlight on a specific country and its franchises.

In 2011, Canada succeeds Morocco as Franchise Expo Paris' special guest of honour. In choosing Canada, Franchise Expo Paris's principal aim was to promote a market that is very actractie in exporting as well as importing franchise concepts.

The franchise and networked business sector has seen remarkable growth and today counts over 1,200 franchise networks (+41%) and almost 78,000 outlets spread throughout the major cities.

After Spain, Italy, the USA, Middle Eastern countries, Brazil and Morocco, 2011 sees the turn of Canada, for a number of reasons including the longstanding special relationship between France and Canada and because Franchise Expo Paris show welcomes every year several delegations of canadian visitors, investors, franchisees, franchisors, master franchisees ...

The Canadian Franchise Association - CFA and the Quebec Franchise Council - Le Conseil québécois de la franchise - QFC , will present the most dynamic export-oriented concepts in Canada (work in progress)
