We operate 4,625 stores in Japan and 1,045 stores 26 countries and regions outside of Japan as a One-price variety store currently and are actively expanding our presence in the world. In most overseas markets, we partner with local distributors.
Even though we adopt a flat-price model in Japan, there are various price lines starting from 100 yen as an opening price. Because the pricing of our goods are clear to everyone and set in the affordable range, customers feel easy to buy them.
Approximately 80% of our products in Japan are priced at 100 yen and customers are enjoying our “exciting price”. At our stores, we are keen to cover a wide range of products with many SKUs by covering not only the hot-sellers but also products with less sales so that our customers can experience the joy being in our stores while shopping.
We also release roughly 1,200 new SKUs every month to refresh our product line-ups so that the customers are willing to come back to us. Through these approaches, we strive to always wow and delight our precious customers when they are back at our stores.
We also place great importance on product quality. Goods in our stores comply with laws and regulations in each country and region as well as the quality standards in Japan in order that we can deliver safe and reliable as well as “exciting quality” products to our customers.
