The Pre-contractual Information Document (D.I.P.)
A requirement for exhibiting at the show (only for French companies)
Franchise Expo Paris is an event reserved for franchising and network companies, exhibiting to accelerate their development and recruit new franchisees.
As such, you must provide a complete DIP (Pre-contractual Information Document).
Failing a DIP, as concerns the foreign exhibitors, admission forms must be accompanied of the following items:
- a statement of honourtestifying of a thorough knowledge of the legal aspects of franchising in France, and of the exhibitor’s commitment to the Doubin Act (loi Doubin);
-an attestation, delivered by the French Franchise Federation;
-a legal opinion regarding the reputation of the exhibitor’s brand and system and its commitment to the DoubinAct
