Description
In France, the French Franchise Federation has been representing franchisors and their franchisees since its creation in 1971 and puts its expertise and professionalism at the service of this business development strategy. With nearly 195 member networks, selected on the basis of their commitment to respect the European Code of Ethics for franchising, the FFF is an essential interface, particularly with public authorities and various economic decision-makers. The FFF works to ensure that franchising is taken into account in the guidelines for national trade and, above all, that its expansion is encouraged and promoted. It represents its members and contributes, through its programmes of meetings, exchanges and research, to the constant evolution, professionalisation and durability of the sector; and accompanies the networks in their development in France and internationally. It informs and trains future business creators on the model. In 2009, the FFF created the Académie de la Franchise, the first training organisation dedicated to the franchise business for (future) franchisors and franchisees. Its training course "Becoming a franchisee" presents the fundamentals of franchising, its advantages and requirements and provides a methodology for advancing in one's project, by asking the right questions.
