The success of a new generation exhibition

With a new format packed into three days, and with opening days (Saturday to Monday) more closely suited to the expectations of exhibitors and visitors, Franchise Expo Paris saw a big turnout as soon as the doors opened. Over the space of three days, the show’s aisles buzzed to the tune of entrepreneurship and business creation, bringing together a dynamic community of franchisors and franchisees, aspiring entrepreneurs, towns and communities, experts from the FFF college, and banking & insurance partners. This edition was particularly characterized by the presence of the new generation of entrepreneurs. To meet their expectations and guide them in their project, Franchise Expo Paris laid on a series of talks, pitches and workshops dedicated to the challenges faced by these young people, such as finance or management.

“Franchise Expo Paris has marked the beginning of a new era, with a lot of young entrepreneurs and families attending. We are very pleased to be able to increasingly appeal to this particularly dynamic audience. We also welcomed special guest speakers who I’m sure will have given these entrepreneurs more reason to want to take the plunge. personalities like Hugo Décrypte, Raibed and Fatiha Tahri, the founders of Pap & Pille or the patisserie world champion Nina Métayer all found the right words with which to address our young entrepreneurs! We are also very satisfied that we could offer a range of services to our visitors, including a childcare centre, zones to have lunch in, and for our entrepreneurs a tech village displaying solutions to help them in their ecological transition,” explained Sylvie Gaudy, director of Franchise Expo Paris at the Infopro Digital group.

The dynamism of franchising confirmed at Franchise Expo Paris

Franchise Expo Paris this year recorded a 6% rise in the total number of exhibitors, which included 235 new brands. This upward trend illustrates the positive economic environment for the development of franchising in France and abroad.

Under the patronage of the French Ministry of the Economy and Finance for the first time, Franchise Expo Paris was also en event acknowledged by the government authorities, with the visit of Olivia Grégoire, delegate minister for Businesses, Tourism and Consumption on Monday 18 March. This trip, during which she met exhibitors and franchising players, is a form of recognition for the whole sector. The minister furthermore congratulated all the franchising players for their vitality and growth.

The show’s 2024 edition was unquestionably an outstanding one, with a shorter format but a bigger success! A success thanks to the higher attendance, the new services, the acknowledgement from the government with the patronage of the Ministry of the Economy and the visit by minister Olivia Grégoire. An edition of which we at the FFF are particularly proud, and which once again illustrates the central role of franchising in business and more generally in our country’s economy,” adds Véronique Discours-Buhot, Chief Executive of the French Franchising Federation
