- 101CAFFE’ is the italian franchise brand leader in the segment of single-serve coffee and drinks specializing in the sale of quality coffee in pods, capsules, beans, both ground and soluble, selected from Italy’s finest roasters. 101CAFFE’ is operating actually in 14 countries around the world, with stores and coffee shops in local neighbourhoods and in the most prestigious shopping malls. 2010: the brand 101CAFFe’ was born, from the idea of its founder Umberto Gonnella, with the aim to let discover Italians and the whole world the extraordinary quality of coffee from the best italian coffee roasteries. 2011: a 101CAFFE’ pilot store opens in Milan. 2012: the project takes concrete form, moving forward with the opening of several stores 101CAFFE’ in Italy. Our stores, in addition to their unparalleled selection of coffee, are distinguished by a very wide range of alternative coffee drinks, coffee makers, accessories, and a line of regional pastry products called “Le Sfiziosità”. In the same year, the first coffee shop 101CAFFE’ opens in Apricena, Italy. 2017: growth in foreign markets begins, which will increase steadily in the following years. Food Empire Holdings Ltd, a multinational company that owns several F&B brands, listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) and active in more than 50 countries, becomes an investor in 101CAFFE’. 2022: the exclusive technology 101CAFFE’ was born:Ethicap®, the only high-capacity compostable capsule system for the entire Premium coffee range, which will see extraordinary success.
