- 40 years ago, I began my career as a cosmetologist, searching for solutions to my personal skin concerns. It was a never-ending search. I have studied and participated in courses, lectures, conferences and workshops in Brazil, the United States, Europe and Asia. I say studied, but in reality I am still studying and participating in countless events related to beauty and facial skin health. France has notably been a reference in my career. The detailed study of European fair skin, the products produced there and the concentrations of active ingredients inspired further studies and research. I fell in love with cosmetology. This experience, combined with the enchantment of the discoveries, awakened in me the need to create a line of products intended for combination skin, with varied phototypes and which take into account the tropical climate of Brazil. In my aesthetic clinic, providing individualized care on a daily basis, for 15 years, I have been able to observe and test active ingredients and percentages adapted for effective results, in the most varied phototypes and skin conditions. In 1996, I created a laboratory and hired professionals with the aim of developing my own completely different formulations, resulting from the combination of a range of active ingredients in high concentrations. The products in the Adelia Mendonça line have been designed to offer physiological interaction and maximum synergy with the structures of the skin. All have been shown to be effective; have been dermatologically tested; are hypoallergenic; formulated to the highest standards of good manufacturing practices
